Technology
and Innovation Centers (TIC)
is a chain of specified technology centers that work as
multi-functional service provider centers established by the
Ministry of Trade and Industry and affiliated to the Technology
Development Sector. The main target of TIC
is to reinforce knowledge, experience, capacity, know-how, and
technology transfer between those who have them and those who
need them. TIC works on a mechanism
to transfer technology from its foreign and local resources to
all industrial sectors in Egypt according to the requirements of
industry and export sectors.

have been established to provide their services vertically to

Strategy and Approach
TIC strategy is based on three main
axes:
First: Set up a
demand-based model to fulfill the technological requirements of
the industrial sector
Second: Effective diffusion within the
global technology and knowledge based society and establish
twinning agreements with high-level international partners to
provide resources of technology
Third: Provide
technological services with high level and competitive value and
work on achieving sustainability and financial dependence for
the technology centers |
